First competition of the season saw five Welsh Athletes compete at Yate Regional centre.

Super League and British Ranking events:

Emily Shawyer 2nd and Ranked Number 1 in GB (Junior Women) (on target for GB selection for German World Tour event July 2019)

Paul O'Callaghan 1st and ranked Number 3 in GB (Senior Men) (on target for GB selection for German World Tour event July 2019)

National Series:

Youth Men - Dylan Hughes - 5th Qualifies for National Series final in September 2019 (This was Dylan's first competitive race!)

Senior Women - Nicole Newton - 2nd Qualifies for National Series final in September 2019

Senior Women - Wendy Newton - 3rd Qualifies for National Series final in September 2019

Senior Men - Paul O'Callaghan - 2nd Qualifies for National Series final in September 2019

Other News:
Entry Forms, Visa support forms, Athlete profiles, arms and ammunition declaration due in for the Italian International Open by end of April 2019 and payment by 3 May 2019. This is not an open event, but British Shooting has agreed regions may enter with the absence of a GB team. Robert Shawyer has completed forms for submission and will forward to John Dallimore for approval. This is currently a self-funded event.

The next event is the British Shooting Masterclass, for eligible athletes and coaches, on 27 April 2019, followed by the next training session, outside on the grass 400m track, on 19 May 2019.
